Seven pioneering profile manufacturer firms of PVC door and window sector in Turkey founded PÜKAD Plastic Profile Manufacturers "Quality Union" Association on 01.11.1999.

The manufacturers operating under such brand names as PİMAPEN, PAKPEN, EGEPEN, FIRATPEN, WİNSA, ESENPEN and ADOPEN - PLASPEN have founded this Association with such goals as to bring their manufactures together within the standards complying to the European norms, to enhance manufacturing, assembly, before- and after-sales quality, to develop standards in such respects and to protect the consumers.

Later, four other pioneering companies of the sector who were qualified for the administrative and technical specifications of our Association and who were eager to accept our regulations joined our Association. The companies were KOMPEN PVC Yapı ve İnşaat Malzemeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. located in Konya, ALFAPEN Plastik İnşaat Yapı Elemanları San. ve Tic A.Ş. located in Kayseri, TECNOPLAS Yapı Elemanları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and NATURELPLAST San. ve Tic. A.Ş. located in Gaziantep.

The fundamental functions of this association are to make contacts and to prepare development programs with similar European organizations, to make up standards for PVC door and window profiles as well as for windows, to follow the same, to declare opinion for the drafts of such standards as made up for this purpose, and to assume functions in the commissions of Head Office of TSE Standards.

Starting out from such alliance of aim, PÜKAD, founded to admit new members, to improve the existing ones, to organize training sessions, to make contacts with the other nongovernmental organizations in the sector taking any practices of similar European organizations as its model, counts it as the greatest target to help the sector to attain the level of developed countries.

The other functions of our association are to make and develop contacts with such laboratories as RAL, IFT Rosenheim Institute located abroad for the sake of developing the sector.

The targets adopted by Pükad include standardizing every items such as the profiles, the accessories, the seals, the glass, the manufacturing machines and installing the finished windows which are in conformity to the standards, opening a Window School to serve the Plastic Window sector and ensuring accurate manufacturing, accurate assembly and accurate service, training well-educated people in this field and causing them gained by the sector, as well as making the consumers aware in this matter and ensuring "Total Customer Satisfaction".
