4.Quality Inspection

   a. The "Quality Union" Association has the right and liability to inspect whether the quality and test conditions and also the quality mark are used properly.

   b. The manufacturers to whom the right of using the mark for their products were granted, must take all the necessary measures since it is their own responsibility to ensure the conformity of any products marked with the quality mark to any quality and test conditions. They must keep any inspection reports for any in-house inspections that they will carry out. Also, they must forward such window profiles to the quality union for testing and any testing and transport expenses thereof are to their account.

   c. The Quality Consultative Committee, during the application of inspection tests, nominates independent inspection organizations (material testing organizations or testing institutes approved by government offices) and takes any necessary decisions jointly therewith. Such testing organizations may be the ones located abroad.

   d. Any inspectors to be authorized by independent inspection organizations may carry out some tests in the site of quality mark user for inspection purposes without any prior notice. An inspector is liable to present his/her identity card if requested and not to disclose his/her in-house experiences even if he/she resigns from the organization thereafter, for which he/she works.

Some marked product samples may be taken at the product warehouse if found acceptable. In some special cases, also some samples may be taken from the subcontractor or at the construction site. Any samples to be taken in the cases of repeating the test or carrying out a specific test are for only those products which requires testing.

The samples taken are marked by the inspector in order to avoid any confusion and variation. Any samples which cannot be picked up by the inspector must be forwarded to the inspection organization within 2 weeks.

Samples are taken in the presence of the company owner, his representative or any assignees.
In some cases, if justified, the samples may be taken in the presence of the subcontractor or any executive at the construction site. It must be assured that the samples were taken from inside of an inspected consignment. The manufacturer must be allowed to witness sample taking and a minutes must be kept, signed by the parties at the time of sample taking.

Any sample taken from a subcontractor or from the construction is binding only for those products stored in that place. A defective product cannot be taken as sample only when it is clearly marked and kept in a different place.

   e.Any tests to be carried out on any window profiles to be subject to quality inspection must be in conformity with any quality and test conditions. Inspections are carried out by an authorized inspection organization only twice. During such inspections, samples must be taken from minimum three of those main profiles which are subject to quality inspection.

   f. Test results are reported by the inspection organization authorized independently from any organs of "Quality Union" Association. Such organization prepares separate test reports for each window profile tested and delivers one copy to the "Quality Union" Association and one copy to the quality mark user. Test results are kept confidential by the quality union and the inspection organization.

   g. It is at the discretion of the Quality Consultative Committee to decide on repeating one of the tests, which was proved to be incorrect. The user of the mark may also ask for such a repetition.

   h. Any third persons may ask for such a testing from the "Quality Union" Association as well, provided that the costs of which are to their account. The test requiring party must by all means cover any expenses although the test fails to give those results that the complainant needs. In the case that any results are obtained, which are to justify the complaints, the costs are borne by the user of the mark.

   i. It is the user of the mark who is 100% responsible for the quality of its products and no any organ of the "Quality Union" Association may be kept responsible for the products of the quality mark user.
