ORGANIZATION OF INSPECTION COMMITTEE AND ITS FUNCTIONS : The Inspection Committee is elected by the General Assembly for one year by secret voting and consists of 3 permanent and 3 substitute members according to the number of votes taken. Any member who intends to be a candidate in the election for the membership of Inspection Committee submits a signed separate candidate's statement to the Board of Directors eight days prior to the election. The Board of Directors makes the state of affairs known to the permanent members. Any member who is a candidate for membership of Inspection Committee may not be a candidate in the elections to be made for the Board of Directors and Quality Consultative Committee during the same election period. In the case that the total number of candidates applied for the membership of Inspection Committee within the defined period is less than eight, the congress chairmanship, in the election day, first and formally completes any lacking candidates. The ballots are prepared in alphabetical order as to surnames. The Council Chairmanship of the General Assembly delivers the ballots and the envelopes sealed to each members to cast votes. Ballots are invalid without seal. The candidate who gets the majority of votes becomes the chairman. The permanent and substitute members are designated according to the number of votes. Members, casting their votes, put multiplication sign in the box opposite to the name of the candidate for chairmanship of their preference. The ballots are null and void in the cases of giving vote to those whose names are added in the list of candidates afterwards or giving votes to candidates more or less than three. The Inspection Committee may inspect the operations, books, accounts and activities of the Board of Directors at any time and reports its opinions and critiques to the Board of Directors. It, if need be, requires the gathering of an extraordinary General Assembly. If an ordinary period has elapsed, it presents the results of annual inspection in a report to the General Assembly. The Board of Directors and the executives of the association are bound to release any information and documents required by the Inspection Committee. |
